OEC has installed new fuel dispensers and monitoring technology for the City of Tuscaloosa’s fleet department.
OEC installed new dispensers at three different locations in Tuscaloosa:
- Two Gasboy Atlas Dispensers and a Gasboy Islander Prime at the Tuscaloosa Police Department
- A Gasboy Islander Prime in the fleet department’s oil bay
- Three dispensers, four satellites and a Gasboy Islander Prime at the fleet department’s main fuel island
Part of what made this project so special was the incorporation of Fuel Point Plus technology. This equipment allows for every drop of fuel to be accounted for. It was a massive undertaking that required more than 2,000 vehicles and pieces of equipment to be outfitted with the technology.
