Construction is complete on a new “Ball Park” Travel Center for Mark “Yogi” Welborn in Russellville, Alabama.
OEC Construction crews began work on the building pad for the new facility earlier this year, which is located at the corner of Highway 24 and Walnut Gate Road. This is a 5,000 square-foot modern travel plaza features a deli (including great breakfast biscuits), a liquor store, convenience items and a seating area inside and outside.
Customers are presented with four Exxon gasoline dispensers offering eight fueling positions as well as two lanes of diesel in the rear.
Mr. Welborn spent three years working with OEC to plan the perfect travel center for his customers in Russellville. OEC appreciates his meticulous attention to detail as well as the cooperation of the city of Russellville Building Department and the Franklin County Health Department, both of which were great to work with.
