Construction is nearly complete on a new “Ball Park” Travel Center for Mark “Yogi” Welborn in Russellville, Alabama.
OEC Construction crews began work on the building pad for the new facility earlier this year, which is located at the corner of Highway 24 and Walnut Gate Road. This is a 5,000 square-foot modern travel plaza with a deli, showers and liquor store.
Outside includes four Exxon gasoline dispensers offering eight fueling positions as well as two lanes of diesel in the rear.
The building is scheduled to be open by mid-October. Mr. Welborn has spent countless hours making sure the store is customer-friendly with seating inside and outdoors. We join his belief that the City of Russellville will be proud of his design.
